HIS DIVINE GRACE A. C. BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI PRABHUPADA
Srila Prabhupada appeared in this world in 1896 in Calcutta, India. He first met his spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami, in Calcutta in 1922. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, a prominent devotional scholar and the founder of sixty-four branches of Gaudiya Mathas (Vedic institutes), liked this educated young man and convinced him to dedicate his life to teaching Vedic knowledge in the Western world.
History of ISKCON RR Nagar
ISKCON Rajarajeshwari Nagar started as a humble gathering of devotees dedicated to spreading the message of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Over the years, it has grown into a vibrant spiritual center.
With a vision to provide a sanctuary for spiritual growth, the center conducts regular programs, festivals, and community services. The upcoming temple project stands as a testament to the dedication of the community in establishing a permanent home for Their Lordships.
